A passionately creative soul.
At my core I am a content creator driven towards excellence and passionate about beauty.
I create as a painter, filmmaker and photographer who also finds the business side of creativity to be stimulating and fulfilling. My creativity extends to music and film production via my company, Urban Pop Entertainment (UPE) which manages the career of a talented artist named Kamau Kenyatte. I also serve as an advisor to rapper/videographer JD Tha Janitor and the extremely talented vocalist C. Anthony Bryant. UPE also produces film and television projects with our collaborators HollandWest Productions.
I've shot commissioned images for a variety of clients including: Ford Models, Click Models, Nivea, PMK-BNC, Eucerin, The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries, Sheen Magazine, Candid Magazine (UK), Bleu Magazine, Interscope Records, Bevy Smith, Emil WIlbekin, First Corinthian Baptist Church, Rev. Michael A. Walrond Jr. to name a few.
My art has been exhibited in numerous group and solos shows in New York, Washington D.C. and Maryland;including "White Lies, Black Noise" at Rush Arts; "Latent: An En Foco Photo exhibition" at Umbrella Arts; "The Subject is Black" curated by Lawrence Graham Brown at Leslie Lohman Project Space, and "Brother Outsider Won't You Come Inside" at GMAD to name a few.
