One of LA’s favorite artists, Brandi Milne, returns to Corey Helford Gallery on Saturday, August 11th, after a two-year working sabbatical to reveal her long-awaited exhibition of new paintings, “Before I Hide Away.” Moving away from the ink outlining of her characters and into a softer, more spontaneous blending of colors and figures, Brandi notes, “My aesthetic for this show is a little different than previous shows. This body of work is a literal description of letting go of control, emotionally and artistically. I’ve left each and every painting to be guided by my truest emotion at the time of working on it.”
