On Wednesday night Joey Harris aka J-Harris hosted the latest edition of his popular R&B music showcase called LoveJones NYC. The event features live painting, music and dance. This particular edition of Love Jones had a twist; it featured hip-hop/rap acts. The event (held at Tenjune because the original venue W.i.P. was closed down due to the now infamous bottle throwing tantrum involving two pop stars we wont bother to mention) and featured live performances by a number of talented acts including; Esso, Range and IB who rocked the place during her electric set! Some of the other notables in attendance included: Solange Knowles (who was there to support IB), Def Jam artist Luke James (who blessed the crowd with an impromtu verse of his hit single I Want You over a beat dropped by the DJ), Wish, stylist Ty Hunter, Ronnie James, Jarrod, Lee Charm, Chris Browns new artist LuvaBoy TJ, MBK artist Daisha, and Stevie wonders daughter Lyric.
The room was also full of beautiful people and of course the expected collection of ‘industry folk’ including reps from Bad Boy, Sony, Epic, Roc Nation, Universal Records, Def Jam, and Parkwood Entertainment.

Great write-up! I was there too and posted the evening on my blog. I used less pictures and more words to paint the picture of the evening. Hope to see you out at the next one too!
