ABOUT RIVALS OF TIME:
Fashion and music are very much synonymous in today’s culture. The evolution of both industries has created a renaissance of modern street art, combing music, fashion, and design into one creative avenue. Our goal is to create a new brand experience on the web, that engages the consumers but with a story, song, and video as well. This creates a new interactive environment where a consumer is able to relate with the garment in a more personal way, giving our apparel an identity. At the same time we are able to present talented individuals of the “Modern Day Art Renaissance,” we like to call it, and create a new avenue of collaborative art with the universal theme of “time.” In essence, each designer will collaborate with Rivals of Time on a themed graphic. After that creative process, the next step will be music. A musician and producer will work towards a song that will directly depict the artwork for the garment, giving their creative input on the content. For the final part of production, a videographer will show their “eye”, illustrating the same idea, providing the visual aid for our consumers. After all is seen and done, a writer will bring in their creative content forming the words that build the picture. The lifestyle brand we offer not only has apparel with character, but also fashions a new collaborative platform to expose great artistic talent. We provide the path of direct communication to our fans resulting in a true lifestyle brand that evolves within our community. In order to represent our street culture accurately, we team up with our talent of today to create the movement of tomorrow. We end up with a garment made for us and that speaks for our time.
